Sleep, stress and anxiety: what are your consumers really saying?
Disturbed sleep, persistent stress, widespread anxiety... These everyday ailments affect a large part of the population, directly influencing their well-being, their energy and their purchasing behavior.
At SYRES, we interviewed more than 5 panelists to better understand their habits, their difficulties and the solutions they put in place.
What our investigation reveals:
- 81% of respondents report having sleep problems.
- The most affected? 30 45-years : 84% of them say they are concerned.
- On women are more numerous to suffer from nocturnal awakenings (63%) andanxiety (57%).
- On the side of men :
- 50% wake up at night,
- 38% sleep badly,
- 47% experience stress on a daily basis.
And to fight?
- 36% opt for herbal tea (a classic), especially among younger people.
- Forty-year-olds are the kings of melatonin and dietary supplements.
- The elderly? Sleeping pills and pharmacy treatments are their allies.
Stress and anxiety: the other infernal duo
63% of the population feels stressed
- Young people (18-39 years old) take the gold medal: 74% of them are stressed.
- 35% juggle both stress and anxiety.
- Women (65%) are more affected than men (49%).
These figures speak for themselves: stress, anxiety, and sleep disorders have a profound impact on consumers' daily lives. Understanding them better means better meeting their expectations and offering relevant, effective solutions tailored to their needs.
